Chinese Ambassador to the East African Community and Tanzania Chen Mingjian Meets with Hon. Stephen Mbundi, Secretary General of the EAC in Arusha
On October 5, Chinese Ambassador to the East African Community (EAC) and Tanzania H.E. Chen Mingjian met with Hon. Stephen Mbundi, Secretary General of the EAC in Arusha, followed by a joint press availability.
Amb. Chen commended the EAC for its achievements in advancing regional integration, spoke highly of the China-EAC relations, elaborated on China’s position on the Taiwan question and introduced major substance and global significance of the Global Development Initiative (GDI).
SG Mbundi reiterated EAC’s commitment to the one-China Principle and spoke highly of GDI’s contribution to global development cause.
